Sound Designer The work of a sound designer in the technology software development industry is not dissimilar to that of film and television or live production. Both are charged with establishing the overall aural aesthetic of the product, but the game sound designer does not work from a single established script; rather they create an auditory world that changes, evolves, and is manipulated through the player’s experience.
Paris, France Paris is the capital and most populous city of France, with an area of 105 square kilometres (41 square miles) and a population of 2,206,488. Since the 17th century, Paris has been one of Europe's major centres of finance, commerce, fashion, science, music and painting. Paris is especially known for its museums and architectural landmarks: the Louvre was the most visited art museum in the world in 2016, with 7.4 million visitors. Paris' monument-lined boulevards, museums, classical bistros and boutiques are enhanced by a new wave of multimedia galleries, design shops and tech start-ups. Some 30 million French people (52% of them women) play regularly, making them the largest gaming community of any European country, and only American developers produce more games. Ubisoft, Quantic Dream, DONTNOD Entertainment and Gameloft are amongst the largest tech companies in Paris.
