The University of Pittsburgh School of Law (Pitt Law) seeks to hire a licensed attorney practicing in healthcare and compliance as a part-time Adjunct Instructor to serve as a course instructor in its Healthcare Compliance Graduate Certificate Program ("HCC Online").

HCC Online is designed to equip current and future compliance professionals with the knowledge, skills, and judgment they need to institute and champion ethical compliance in a rapidly changing healthcare environment. All courses and seminars are taught online, asynchronously. The current opening is to teach Legal Aspects of Healthcare Compliance, which explores key laws that drive compliance challenges, including the False Claims Act, the Antikickback Statute, Stark, HIPAA, the Federal Sentencing Guidelines, and the Seven Elements of Compliance, internal and government investigations, repayments and disclosures, and corporate responsibility and governance.

The Course Instructor will work with the University of Pittsburgh Center for Teaching and Learning course design specialist to update course materials and will guide and support student progress through the course, advise students and respond to their questions, and evaluate student work.

Preferred requirements: J.D. and significant healthcare compliance law experience.
