Job description

We have an exciting new opportunity to join our team in Gateshead and require experienced Healthcare Assistants to support our service users with their complex care needs.

If you are committed, motivated, enjoy delivering one to one support and can build positive relationships with our service users and their families, this could be just the position you are looking for!

We are providing care to children within the Gateshead area to support with their complex and clinical care needs.

Your role will be to support their personal care, moving and handling requirements and attend to there clinical care needs throughout the day or night on a 1:1 basis.

You will assist them in enjoying their hobbies and interests, offer reassurance when needed and show a compassionate and nurturing approach, ensuring their needs and wishes are met.

We work hard to build close relationships with our service users and their families as we understand the importance that we play in their lives.

Our service users have specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.

Essential Experience Required

  • 3 months previous care experience with complex care
  • Medication Administration
  • Personal Care
  • Moving and Handling
  • A passion to make a difference
  • Desirable experience

  • Children's care experience
  • Shifts Available:

  • Full Time & Part Time Available
  • 2-5 shifts per week
  • Days & Nights Available

  • Weekdays: £13.00 per hour (£156.00 Approx. per 12-hour shift)
  • Weeknights: £13.50 per hour (£162.00 Approx. per 12-hour shift)
  • Weekends: £14.00 per hour (£168.00 Approx. per 12- hour shift)
  • Bank holidays: £16.00 per hour (£192.00 Approx. per 12 hour shift)
