Job Title: Clinical Specialist (Woundcare) ( m/f*) ( New Healthcare Company)

3M is establishing two industry-leading companies, creating value through the spin-off of its Health Care business, while 3M will continue to be a global material science leader, focusing our innovation to win in favourable global megatrends and attractive end markets. This new Health Care Company will be a leading global diversified health technology company with:

We expect the creation of the two companies will be completed by the end of 2023. For now, we will continue to operate as one global company. This role is positioned to drive the success of the "New Health Care Company”.   

The impact you have in this role

As a Clinical Specialist you will have the opportunity to put your curiosity to good use and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people in the world. Here's how to make an impact:

  • Develop and deliver strategic clinical content for relevant profit centres.
  • Partner with Profit Centre Marketing Leads to develop and deliver key marketing programmes.
  • Provide clinical insight that informs marketing plan development throughout the annual strategic planning process.
  • Work closely with the local country sales and other Clinical Specialists to support local initiatives. Attend key clinical events in local or NE regions in support of profit centre objectives.
  • Create and deliver, through clinician partnerships, care pathways and service redesign that differentiate 3M in the market.
  • Build, develop, review and update clinical content for customer education.
  • Drive clinical support of New Product Introductions into the UK&I.

Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications/experience:

  • Clinical or Nursing qualification.
  • Experience in a nursing position, ideally as a Tissue Viability Nurse/or nurse or operating department practitioner.
  • Experience in a Clinical role within industry.
  • In depth knowledge of the UK/ Northern European Health Care markets including in depth knowledge of local health provision.

Additional qualifications/experience that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Advanced PowerPoint, Excel and word, SalesForce.
  • Ability to present clinical and technical information to non-specialists.
  • Ability to forge strong internal relationships with multiple stakeholders.
  • Professional communicator, including meetings with management of all levels
  • Ability to build strong relationships with senior clinicians.
  • Team Player.
  • Challenger mindset, self-motivated, tenacious & driven.

Travel: As this position will include extensive travel and some anti-social working hours the employee must be flexible and resilient to the demands of the role.

Role Location: UK Based
