As a Healthcare Contracts Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless delivery of integrated urgent care contracts. This exciting opportunity will allow you to lead and inspire operational teams, drive excellence in service delivery, and foster a culture of high performance.
Key Responsibilities: of the for the Healthcare Contracts Delivery Manager role
- Lead and manage integrated urgent care contracts, including Clinical Assessment Service, Home Visiting, Face to Face services, and specialist services.
- Empower your operational management team to oversee daily operations, ensuring compliance with contract requirements and service specifications.
- Proactively manage contracts and cultivate stakeholder relationships, collaborating with key team members as needed.
- Optimise staffing levels, adhere to budgets, and execute recruitment plans.
- Facilitate knowledge-sharing, best practices, peer reviews, support, and innovation within clinical and operational teams.
- Promote a high-performance culture, managing performance and taking corrective action when necessary.
- Serve as a values-driven leader, embodying our organization's vision and values.
- Lead workforce planning, budgeting, and quarterly reviews, providing strong support to your direct reports.
- Demonstrate effective communication, ensuring consistency of messaging across teams.
- Participate in the manager on-call rota and step in for the Head of Healthcare when required.
Qualifications: Essential: for the Healthcare Delivery Contracts Manager role
- Extensive senior-level experience in a complex organization.
- Strong strategic acumen.
- Proven track record in contract, operational, and stakeholder management.
- Ability to inspire, lead, develop, and motivate teams.
- Experience managing business units with £5 million or higher turnover.
- Understanding of regulatory compliance.
- Familiarity with System Delivery monitoring and management.
- Ability to optimise service processes and patient flow.
- Experience in unscheduled primary or urgent healthcare provision.
- Collaboration experience with external bodies and organizations.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate staff through periods of change.
- Flexibility to work across various sites, requiring a full driver's license and car.
- Knowledge of NHS contracts and contract management, including APMS, GMS and NHS Standard Form Contracts is highly desirable

- up to £60000 base salary DOE
