Job description

Prospero Teaching are looking for an intellectual Educational Health Care Plan Writer to work remotely to starting as soon as possible.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

  • Location – Remote working
  • Position – Educational Health Care Plan Writer
  • Start date – ASAP
  • Duration / Likely Duration – Ongoing
  • End date (if applicable) – N/A
  • Full time/part time – Full Time
  • Hours – 9:00am – 5:00pm
  • EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • You will need to be able to evidence your experience in carrying out needs led integrated assessments for ages for children and young people aged 0-19, collaboratively working with service users, and other professionals.

  • QTS – desirable
  • Excellent IT and organisational skills

  • Be able to prioritise your own workload and also meet statutory timescales.

  • Knowledge and experience in planning and facilitating person centred multi-agency meetings

  • Ability to demonstrate your ability to construct and develop EHC Plans from approved assessments, to meet the needs of children and young people and help them to achieve outcomes.

  • Good understanding of the issues facing families where children and young people have special educational needs and/or disabilities.

  • Knowledge of the Person Centre planning and processes.

  • Experience in chairing and leading meetings and experience of problem solving, resolving conflict and mediation.

  • TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references
