The Engagement Manager/Senior Consultant will be instrumental in developing and executing an aggressive growth strategy within the organization. This will be achieved through effective project and client management, team leadership, business development, strategic planning and analysis, recommendation and conclusion forming. Ipsos Market Access group is part of the Ipsos Advisory Services Consulting team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead teams of consultants in the successful delivery of projects in areas of market strategy; pricing and reimbursement; transaction support; opportunity evaluation; health economics; medical devices and diagnostics
  • Develop commercial strategy and new business generation opportunities:
  • Develop client relationships to generate opportunities for own and other Ipsos Advisory Market Access Project teams
  • Conduct competitor intelligence, benchmarking, and service provision analyses.
  • Undertake business development, follow up leads and participate in new business meetings
  • Produce complete proposal documents for Principal/VP/EVP sign off , as well as independently develop proposals
  • Lead collaborative intra Ipsos teams
  • Take a supporting role in presenting at conferences
  • Execute projects to client-ready standard:
  • Follow standard procedures to undertake secondary research; utilize all available data sources; make recommendations for new sources; gather and analyse data; identify and design appropriate methods of research
  • Conduct client stakeholder interviews, as well as Market Access decision-makers
  • Deliver projects in a timely manner, with the utmost attention to detail, quality, and value
  • Communicate effectively with clients and Ipsos Advisory Market Access project team members throughout the course of the project and managing expectations accordingly
  • Provide expert content knowledge on global healthcare systems, as well as disease-specific and technology-specific areas
  • Proactively manage own and other's time across multiple simultaneous projects
  • Manage input from junior colleagues and associates to ensure projects are delivered on time and to budget
  • Ensure project profitability
  • Encourage collaborative teamwork across all Ipsos Market Access and Advisory project teams
  • Proactively communicate with colleagues at all levels to ensure mutual exchange of information
  • Provide constructive feedback to colleagues on a project-by-project basis, identifying potential issues and offering solutions as they arise
  • Lead and mentor the team, taking responsibility for monitoring compliance with group policies and systems
  • Experience and Skills:

  • Minimum 6 - 10 years of experience within the Healthcare/Market Research industry. 7+ years of Consulting experience is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of major NA-US health systems and pricing and reimbursement processes
  • Well-developed presentation and writing skills to clearly communicate complex data and information
  • Experience in payer research and of precise data analysis
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Effectively engage directly with clients
  • Prepared to work to tight and immoveable deadlines, e.g., proposal submissions
  • Ability to identify core issues and create solutions
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel if necessary
  • A positive work ethic and a "can do" attitude
  • Fluency in additional European languages is a plus
  • Education:

  • BA/BS degree in Life Sciences, Business or Public Health
  • MPH/MBA degree with additional coursework in health economics and healthcare finance is preferred
  • Expected Hire Date: SPRING 2024

    In accordance with NY/CO/CA/WA law, the estimated base salary range for this role is $165,000 to $210,000. Your final base salary will be determined based on several non-discriminatory factors which may include but are not limited to location, work experience, skills, knowledge, education and/or certifications.
