Several of REV's brands pioneered their specialty vehicle product categories and date back more than 50 years.JOB TITLE:CNC Programmer IIPAY GRADE:SCOPE:Perform duties to program, set up, change over and operate the complete range of equipment and machine tools in an assigned area to process materials into parts for the assembly of custom vehicles, working within the limits of standard or accepted practice.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Perform all phases of operation, programming, maintenance, and repair, of CNC machinery, including but not limited to CNC Press Brake and Fiber Laser cutter. Operate computer numerical control to fabricate parts. Loads parts in machine, cycles machine, detects malfunctions in machine operations such as worn or damaged cutting tools. Run production lots, communicate with co-workers regarding productions runs, and maintains safe, organized and clean work environment.OTHER DUTIES MAY INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:* Load Work Order files to CNC Press Brake, Laser cutter, Cadman B and Cadman L as required.* Stay current in Excel and basic PC software as needed.* Understand and carry out verbal and written directions in English* Close attention to detail* Function with a minimal amount of supervision or no supervision.* Set work priorities to meet production goals as scheduled.* Assist in training all CNC operators on their respective equipment and skill levels.* Interface with engineering to program machine run and set ups.* Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.* Meet minimum safety and 5S standards.* Meet all QA and QC standards for each task.* Be compliant with all the rules of conduct and attendance per the company handbook.* Ensure that hazardous waste is handled appropriately and placed into the proper container(s).* Maintains all satellite and storage containers in a closed position unless adding or removing waste.* Familiar with Hazardous Waste Contingency Plan.* Knows spill response procedures and evacuation routes.* Other duties and responsibilities as required.* Ability to read, write, comprehend, and verbally communicate simple instructions, short correspondence and memos in English.* Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and layout and other written or verbal instructions presented in English.* Ability to read and use linear and other measuring devices.* Ability to perform all operations within accepspan quality and time standards.* Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.* Fundamental use of various pneumatic and power tools.* Familiar with the safe operation of various tools: including but not limited to drills, screw gun, span saw, band saw and press brakes.* Ability to use basic mathematics.* Must have general knowledge of OSHA and EPA standards.* Employee shall be supervised until training is complete.*TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT USED:SawsDrills/MillsBrake PressMeasuring equipment (tape measures, Calipers)Hydraulic Sheet Metal ShearOverhead CranePOSITION EXPECTATIONS:* SAFETY: Follow E-ONE General Health & Safety Rules, ensure safe operating conditions within area of responsibility, and notify coworkers and supervisors of hazardous acts and conditions.
