Boeing Commercial Airplanes in Everett, WA is looking for an Experienced Human Factors Engineers to join The BCA Airplane Level Engineering Integration Human Factors (HF) team, in BCA Engineering Core. You will work with new product development, various commercial airplane programs, other core engineering functions and the Boeing enterprise to develop, support and implement human factors engineering excellence in BCA. The position offers the opportunity to influence the implementation of Human Factors in Boeing Commercial Airplanes.

Position Responsibilities:
Support the development of HF requirements, design practices, airplane design, HF training materials and HF processes and tools..
Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify a lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions.
Evaluates customer and /operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces.
Performs various analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture.
Performs analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success.
Develops the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes.
Resolves cross-functional technical issues.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor's of Science degree or higher from an accredited course of study in an engineering discipline, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
5+ years of human factors experience in a manufacturing, support, development or research environment.
2+ years of experience with human factors analysis, human interface design, biomechanics, ergonomics and human modeling tools.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
1+ year (s) of Human factors experience within the aerospace/flight operation industry.
MS in Human Factors or Psychology with an emphasis in Human Factors
ABET Accreditation is preferred.
Experience with CATIA human modeling
Experience in requirements development, management, and test

Typical Education and Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
