    Your role.

    No busy work here. As an intern, you'll be treated just like our entry level staff. We'll give you the flexibility to craft business solutions, not just spreadsheets. We are looking for candidates who are proactive learners, creative thinkers and collaborative problem solvers. Your work will include, but not be limited to:

  • Meeting with healthcare clients to understand their business issues, develop impactful data-driven solutions and instill confidence by assuring the integrity of the data being used to make decisions;
  • Leveraging your education to synthesize complex data into actionable recommendations and express results in a business context; and
  • Delivering solutions in cross-functional engagement teams who serve health systems and physician groups.
  • The qualifications.

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Finance, Healthcare Administration, Health Informatics, or related field and/or a Master's degree in business analytics with prior healthcare industry experience.
  • Academic success (a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0).
  • Detail-oriented leader with strong problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills
  • Willingness to adapt to new technologies and ability to learn quickly.
  • Demonstrated experience transforming raw data into compelling data visualizations and dashboards preferred.
  • Experience with analytics technologies including SQL, Tableau, and Alteryx or comparable preferred.
  • Education or experience with revenue cycle / healthcare operations / healthcare finance desired.
  • Education or experience with EHR and patient accounting data systems desired.
  • Staff members working onsite at healthcare clients will be required to have updated immunizations per client compliance requirements with federal workplace safety guidelines

    This is a non-exempt position and may require work hours that exceed the standard 40-hour work week. This position may require some local, national, and occasional international travel.

    Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (SB 19-085) Information

    Compensation information posted is based on a position being located in the state of CO. Please review position location for applicable geographic location.

    Colorado hourly rate range is as follows:

    $34.00 to $34.00

    We are pleased to offer eligible staff a robust benefits package. Eligibility and contribution requirements for some of these benefits vary based on the number of hours staff work per week. Highlights include health, dental, vision, disability and life insurance. These standard offerings are effective on the first of the month following your start date. In addition to this, eligible staff are able to take advantage of our Flexible Time Off and various pre-determined holidays as well as a balance fund, 401(k) plan, flexible benefits plans, business-related travel expense, lodging and meal reimbursement for business-related use. A Pension plan is also available for eligible administrative and paraprofessional staff. A discretionary bonus plan is available for eligible staff. Plante Moran also offers Interns and Contractors the option to elect health insurance under our contingent staff medical plan as of the 1st of the month following 60 days of employment in addition to limited paid time sick time. Seasonal staff are not eligible for benefits.
