Job Title: Healthcare Assistant

Location: Kent, Ashford

Salary: 11.11 - 18.78 per hour

We are seeking compassionate and resilient Healthcare Assistants to provide essential care and assistance to our residents. Your role will involve offering support in a variety of settings within our care home, ensuring the well-being and comfort of our residents.

Required Experience:

  • Prior experience as a healthcare assistant or similar role in the adult care sector, with a minimum of 6 months of care experience in the last 2 years.

  • Report writing and presentation skills.
  • Negotiation, de-escalation, risk management, and planning.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Health and Social Care Level 2 (Adult Care) or equivalent qualification.
  • Care certificates or equivalent training in adult care and support.
  • Practical Training completed in the last 3 years in Manual Handling, Basic Life Support & AED's.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure resident safety through risk reduction.
  • Promptly report concerns following established procedures.
  • Participate in meetings and conferences as required.
  • Maintain records of concerns or incidents.
  • Encourage residents' well-being and participation in activities.
  • Collaborate with professionals and attend review meetings.
  • Implement and review residents' care plans.
  • Intervene when necessary to ensure resident safety.
  • Adhere to all policies, standards, and legislation related to adult care.
