Role: Healthcare assistants in Residental Home.

Location: East Somerset (Yeovil,Chard, Ilminister,Glastonbury, Frome areas)

Pay: £10.50 - £13 per hour

Hours: Days & Nights

We’re looking for reliable, friendly and energetic person to care for our clients in our residential home. As a health care assistant in a residential care home, you will be providing personal care and support through a variety of tasks which helps to make a true and real difference to people’s lives. You’ll be playing a key role in helping vulnerable people live independently in the comfort and security within a care home setting. You will be working within a team of passionate people.

Being a Healthcare assistant means you need to be adaptable, kind-hearted and put others first. Your role may include:

  • Providing companionship.
  • Support with personal care such as showering, bathing and toileting.
  • Helping with mobility around the care facility.
  • Overseeing medication and providing medical support.
  • Helping with cleaning, cooking and tidying of residents.
  • Providing personal care and support within our residential homes in the local community.
  • Supporting our clients to remain independent in their own rooms.
  • Providing physical and emotional support, ensuring that respect, dignity, and a professional boundary is always maintained.
  • Continuous learning and development.
  • Manual handling.
