What you will be doing
You will join an inclusive, supportive team that works well together to provide care to people with mental health. Whether you have experience as a Support Worker, Healthcare Assistant or Care Worker, you will use your knowledge and skills to help support people lead a valued and fulfilled life.
It can be quite a challenging environment at times, so a positive attitude, compassion, resilience and vigilance are important. But it is hugely rewarding to see people improve; being able to do something today that they couldn't do last week because of you.
You will have access to the Elysium Wellbeing team, which is on hand to keep you feeling great; be it a chat, massage or group activities. The shift patterns include working nights and weekends (3 months of the year on nights on average), 12.5 hours a day, 3-4 days a week with a 1 hour unpaid break. On a Full-Time Contract you will work Wednesday, Thursday and Friday one week and then Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday the following week on a 2-week rolling Rota. Shift times are 7.15am - 7.45pm

Our Potters Bar Clinic comprises two acute mental health wards for adult men and women and two CAMHS Tier 4 low secure wards for young people aged 13-18.
Potters Bar Clinic is located in a residential area, only one minute drive from the M25 and a short bus ride from Potters Bar Train Station - with a bus stop right outside, making it an easy commute for most.
