Service Care Solutions are looking for a Mental Healthcare Assistant to occupy a vacancy at a purpose-built hospital in Newark. With low secure wards with additional Recovery Ward area within, this facility specializes in providing a seamless transition through to discharge. This is a great opening where you can make a positive impact on the lives of women over 18 with complex needs.

Job Type: Healthcare Assistant

Contract: Adhoc

Pay Rate: From 13 - 18 LTD per hour

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality and compassionate care to individuals with mental health conditions
  • Support patients with their daily activities and encourage them to engage with others
  • Work within a broader team to implement treatment plans and ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Maintain and ensure all patient records are accurate
  • Participate in training to develop your skills

Requirements

  • 6 months UK experience working as a Healthcare Assistant
  • Ability to work within a larger team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
