Position: Mental Healthcare Assistant

Location: Cambridge/Peterborough

Hours: Full time/Part time flexible hours

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Mental Healthcare Assistant in Cambridgeshire.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting clients with their daily activities and routines in a compassionate and respectful manner.
  • Providing emotional support and companionship to clients, actively listening to their concerns and needs.
  • Assisting in organising and leading therapeutic group activities to promote social interaction and skill-building.
  • Collaborating with the healthcare team to monitor and report on client's progress and any changes in their condition.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation of client interactions and activities.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role or a background in mental health support.
  • A minimum of 6 months UK experience within a similar setting.
