This position requires a minimum of an active and fully adjudicated Secret clearance with the federal government and by virtue, US citizenship is required. Responsibilities: Designing, developing, deploying, troubleshooting, debugging, and implementing software code for web and data applications. Using Oracle middleware framework for designing technical solutions based on business processes. Hands-on skills with design, architecture, development and unit testing of Java web based applications and middleware. Developing solutions in compliance with organizational SDLC processes, interface design, and architecture. Participating in architecture reviews, application demos, and technical reviews. Prototyping new concepts utilizing big data and open source technologies Working effectively independently as well as in a team environment to deliver high quality solutions on-time and within budget. Performing quality assurance testing and code reviews Applying industry best practices to complex enterprise IT challenges Preferred Background: Active Secret Clearance Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related area. 7+ years of relevant experience for senior-level positions; 4+ years for mid-level positions Solid understanding of object-oriented programing, and code quality assurance procedures. Strong coding skills in the following areas: JavaScript, REST, SQL, HTML, CSS, NodeJS, AngularJS and at least one database (i.e. SQL SERVER, MySQL, Oracle)Awareness of 508 and security/FISMA compliance Excellent knowledge of Oracle Middleware and Java development in the middleware environment (specifically WebLogic, OIM/OAM, Webcenter Portal). Experience with Oracle middleware administration and configuration is a plus Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
