RESPONSIBILITIES Kforce has a client that is seeking a Network Engineer in El Dorado Hills, CA. Essential Duties Assist in defining and communicating the client technology strategy including the definition and enforcement of standards Automation of the client hardware and software provisioning delivery architecture Design a reliable and repeaspan build process of physical and virtual desktops Manage the client infrastructure aspects of technology migration including capacity planning, security, and performance management Maintain awareness of current direction and changes in new technology, advances in the computer industry and relevant client systems such as VDI Lead improvements based on technology, best practices, or changing requirements Evaluate, perform proof-of-concepts, and assist in developing business use cases containing ROI opportunities for new client products or platforms Develop the processes with which client hardware and software are automatically and regularly inventoried and available Perform unit testing of packages, application configurations, images and configuration performance using manual and automated testing tools Implement and oversee execution of system management and control disciplines to ensure data security, integrity, confidentiality and recoverability Serve as 3rd and nth level support for all client related issues in keeping with the organizations incident and problem management escalation procedures Communicate with all levels of IT Leadership and Business Partners across the client's environment regarding client platforms and software deployment activity Mentors junior engineers to develop technical skills towards a senior position REQUIREMENTS 5+ years of experience managing an environment of 5,000+ distributed client systems with an enterprise management technology such as Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager 2012, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Workspace One, etc. 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Active Directory Group Policy 5+ years of experience with a broad range of desktop hardware, client virtualization, and mobile platforms such as smartphones and spants 3+ years of enterprise desktop image management and development 3 + years of hands-on experience with Advanced Group Policy Management (AGPM) Minimum of 3+ years of systems integration and engineering experience with SCCM, software packaging, patch deployment, configuration management and systems management Knowledge and experience with MS Intune and MS autopilot Must have strong knowledge of Microsoft client operating systems, Office suite, and automated and unattended provisioning and configuration on these platforms specifically, Windows 10, MAC OSX, and MS O365 Experience in supporting and managing MAC OSX in enterprise environments, Workspace One for MAC OSX management Working experience with MS Intune, Autopilot and MS Azure AD Scripting and programming experience in languages such as VBScript, PowerShell, and .NET (VB, C) with a focus on automation Demonstrated customer focus and proven ability to deliver high-quality customer service Kforce is an Equal OpportunityAffirmative Action Employer.
