Join a team of dedicated Cybersecurity professionals working to implement cutting edge threat detection and prevention tools and techniques.The person selected for this position will be part of the Offensive Security Research Team (OSRT) as part of the Cyber Threat Management (CTM) organization as an Information Security Manager (ISM). This position will manage technical teams that perform staff functions, validation testing, and security controls effectiveness testing. The staff group provides process and logistical support to all of the functions in the OSRT. The validation function retests OSRT findings to ensure they have been properly understood and remediated. This area will perform debriefs with subject matter experts as needed, and the role will interact with the Risk COE whose job it is to track mitigation. The security controls effectiveness function will operate automated tools that continually test the network and endpoint controls as well as manage the infrastructure used by the OSRT.These managers will oversee the tool set and processes used by the teams and will report metrics for overall performance to leadership. Work is tracked in Atlassian's Jira and a team Wiki is maintained in Confluence. These managers will work with and influence information security and technology leaders, along with line of business management to identify, formulate, and implement information security solutions and controls that manage threats and mitigates risks.Managers will maintain an advanced awareness of bank security policies and government regulations pertaining to information security. They will participate in recommending changes to information security policy, standards and procedures as needed for systems/applications/tools. Managers will perform peer reviews, manage resources, expenses, and help translate the requirements into work needed to be done by team. Roles will provide direction and guidance to less experienced staff through mentoring.Responsibilities these managers will share include:* Lead validation testing efforts for the OSRT* Lead efforts to evaluate and sustain Security Control Effectiveness Testing applications and tools* Track metrics and progress throughout the year, communicating results to leadership* Consult and plan with leadership to assess and prioritize new projects and develop strategies to execute new initiatives, while maintaining existing tools portfolio* Primary process expert responsible for continuous improvement and audit responses* Lead interaction with multi-disciplinary teams with direct and matrixed responsibilities to design and develop cyber security strategies that align with the corporation's goals* Meet one on one with direct reports, providing and gathering feedback on performance* Own and manage the Jira workflow design used by the team, create dashboards to track performance* Own and manage the team Confluences space, publishing and organizing the wiki* Help to orchestrate lab resources used by the greater OSRT* Manage the third party testing program for OSRT* Build and maintain partnerships with the users of OSRT tools aligned to this position.* The position will interact and negotiate with middle and/or senior management on a regular basis; create and implement communication plans including presentations on program goals and plans, including progress reports; and may be called upon to manage other projects and initiatives as needed.As an Employee Manager, you are expected to achieve success by leading yourself, your team, and the business.
