The Software Engineer SR ANalyst Provides technical support for technology domain environments including but not limited to cloud, middleware, operating systems, applications, Software-as-a-Service, and Platform-as-a-Service products. Uses diagnostic tools to troubleshoot complex in the respective technology domain. Has the ability to restore or improve service quality and availability, analyzes and resolves issues or may escalate as needed to meet established service level agreements. Participates in projects associated with the technology domain, which includes installation, upgrades, and deployment efforts including deploying to the technology domain. Understands the given technology domain in reference to security and compliance requirements. Participates in testing of new technologies with the given domain. Documents changes and implementation plans within the given technology domain. Participates in projects associated with the technology domain, which includes installation, upgrades, and deployment efforts including deploying to the technology domain. Understands the given technology domain in reference to security and compliance requirements.

This position is a part of the WIM Technology Platform organization.  This position supports a suite of applications which are owned by a third party vendor and utilized by WIM Brokerage Operations team members. The focus of the role is to ensure the resiliency of the applications by ensuring compliance to WF Technology environment updates and compliance initiatives.  This role will

Job Responsibilities
-  Initiate and resolve problem tickets
- Partner with enterprise technology teams to resolve issues,
- Participate in BCP activitites and application health validations
- Assist the vendor with any needed code deployments.

This position can be based at the Wells Fargo site location in Saint Louis, MO; Glen Allen, VA or Charlotte, NC.  

This position is NOT ELIGIBLE for relocation assistance. Prospective candidates should reside in and/or around the target site locations or be able to commute to either of these site for employment.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of software engineering experience
  • 1 + years of Citrix experience
  • 1+ year of application production support experience
  • 1+ year of 3rd party vendor application production support experience



Desired Qualifications

  • An industry-standard technology certification
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Agile experience
  • 1+ year of offshore application production support process experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and disaster recovery procedures/solutions



Other Desired Qualifications
  • 1+ year of batch processing support and troubleshooting experience


Job Expectations

  • Flexibility to frequently be on call beyond normal working hours
  • Flexibility to work in a 24/7 environment, including weekends and holidays
