This position is a hybrid role with approximately 2 days per week minimum expected in the office. It would therefore be preferable for you to be within commuting distance of Manchester or be looking to relocate to the Manchester area.
Additional travel will be required to attend meetings and events across the UK. Occasional overnight stays will be required.
Main responsibilities of the role:
The role requires excellent project management skills to ensure high levels of project participation, data integrity, appropriate analysis, and meaningful insight. The delivery of all projects is underpinned by proactive and responsive stakeholder engagement to ensure delivery of the agreed project scope.

What we do:
The Network work programme comprises a wide range of benchmarking and improvement projects on topics of interest to all members. The work we undertake falls within one of four sectors: community (physical health) services, acute services, mental health, learning disability and autism services, whole system working (e.g. integrated care systems). We are also commissioned to undertake bespoke work for member organisations. These bespoke projects cover a range of topics such as a deep dive on a particular patient cohort or service pathway; understanding areas of improvement such as reducing inequalities, additional targeted data collection to enhance insight on specific areas of interest, and system overviews of service delivery to supported integrated working.
The Network programme is governed by a Steering Group representative of all sectors across which we work. Sector specific Reference Groups provide expert advice and guidance on the projects within specific sector areas. Additionally, the Network actively seeks feedback and opportunities throughout the programme cycle to engage with members to ensure maximum benefit and value for our members.
In addition to our member benchmarking programme, the Network also delivers two wider programmes of work:

The NHS Benchmarking Network is the in-house benchmarking network for the NHS. Benchmark Management Consulting (BMC) runs the NHS Benchmarking Network (“the Network”) on a sub-contract basis from host organisation East London NHS Foundation Trust (ELFT).
The NHS Benchmarking Network is a UK wide membership organisation of over 230 members including national, regional, and local organisations that deliver health and care services across the UK, e.g. NHS England, NHS Wales, NHS Scotland, Health and Social Care in Northern Ireland, NHS provider organisations, independent sector providers, charities, local authorities, Royal Colleges.
The work we undertake at the Network is based on one overarching aim which is:‘To enable members to improve patient outcomes, raise health standards, and deliver quality health and care services through data excellence, benchmarking, and the sharing of innovation.’
