Come check out Fluortek-Nordson Medical      * Temperature-controlled and clean manufacturing environment    Excellent benefits available Day 1 with Nordson including:     * Medical w/ Rx, Dental, Vision, HSA w/ Employer Contribution   * Flexible Spending Accounts (Healthcare & Dependent Care)   * Company Paid STD/LTD, Life Insurance for Employees   * Generous Paid Time Off   * 401(k) w/ Company Match   * Tuition Reimbursement     Job Summary    The Quality Assurance Technician tests and inspects in process materials as well as finished product.    Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities     * Test, inspect, package and label in process and finished products as designated.   * Perform visual inspection as per customer requirement and/or per Nordson MEDICAL standard.   * Communicate (if any) required adjustment to production operators and supervisor based on measurement tests and visual inspection results.   * Document inspection results into quality database according to procedures and work instructions.   * Perform Melt Flow testing as designated.   * Test and inspect incoming raw materials as designated.   * Keep measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions, report any non-working or out of calibration equipment to Quality supervision or compliance coordinator.   * Assist with training for new and/or existing Quality Assurance Technicians.   * Perform other duties as required by quality management including but not limited to rework, filing, special testing etc. Verify labels and documentation as designated.   * Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures.    Education and Experience Requirements    High School Diploma and/or GED Equivalent, Technical School Certificate or Military equivalent or relevant industrial experience    Skills and Abilities     * Experience in Quality System Management.    * Experience in manual and computer -based documentation control and development.   * Ability to communicate well in person, in writing, and by telephone with customers and other company personnel.   * Ability to sit for long periods.    * Ability to read small print and to see at normal distances.   * Ability to write clearly and legibly.    * Ability to hear within normal ranges in person and on telephone.   * Ability to project a positive and competent Company image to customers.    Working Conditions and Physical Demands    To perform this job successfully, an inpidual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
