Now seeking Small Animal Research Technicians for a full service, USDA registered and GLP-compliant Contract Research Organization (CRO) located in Minneapolis, MN, that specializes in medical device and pharmaceutical testing.

  • Full-Time (Monday-Friday) Core Hours: 7:30-4PM

Job Description:

Facilitates the execution of client sponsored preclinical research specializing in biocompatibility, pharmacology and toxicology studies. Performs all in-life activities for laboratory animals including data collection, and providing for their basic needs. Performs a variety of procedures as part of the research process.

Performs dosing of test agents in small animals through a variety of dosing methods, including intraperitoneal, intraveneous, epicutaneous, intradermal, subcutaneous, intramuscular, and oral. Applies topical test agents as required.

--CVT, or 2 or 4 year Degree in Animal Science or related science
--6 months experience technical clinical experience with at least two small animals (mice, rats, guinea pigs, rabbits)- (this experience could include injections, blood draws, euthanize, clinical observation, surgery, anesthesia)
-- Must be comforspan with animal reasearch

Preferred Experience:
--1+ years experience with injecting rodent tail veins
--1+ years experience with GMP/GLP Documentation
-- Preferred: Lab Animal Certifications (ALAT, LAT, LATG)
- Focus on CVT and research side, less focus on behavioral
