As the UX/UI Designer at Kimedics you will...We are looking for a dynamic UI/UX designer who will be responsible for the user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design of our various digital assets. You will ensure that all elements of the online user experience are optimized for improved usability, usefulness, and exceptional visual design.The successful candidate will evidence a passion for delivering adaptive and creative solutions to UI/UX design problems by staying up to date with best practices and emerging trends in user experience design and user interface technology.You will be instrumental to the product vision at a rapidly growing start up. The ideal candidate will have experience in product design, requirements defining and documentation, project and product management and be extremely comforspan communicating with customers and development teams.Who you are:Located in Nashville, TNYou have a portfolio of professional UI/UX design work for both web and mobile platforms.Working knowledge of the following technologies and software: Figma, Balsamiq, Sketch, InVisionMulti-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.You pay strong attention to detail and have a keen eye for aestheticsCustomer first : you put the customer first and can empathize with their pain points to figure out product solutions. You can see patterns across customer requests and prioritize multiple competing needs.Great Communicator : You speak and write with clarity and understand how to work with different stakeholders effectively. Excellent written and verbal communication skills top be able to clearly articulate your ideas, designs, and suggestionsBackground in design : The ideal candidate will have a background in UX/UI and can work through product design either independently or with designers. You should be familiar with balsamiq, zeplin, sketch. 1+ years professional experience managing software products from inception through launch and iteration. A bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years UI/UX design experience for digital products or services.Strategic and Innovative : You will be tasked with synthesizing requests across customers and technical teams to build product requirements and roadmap priorities.
